Focus areas
Five modules, one responsibility. Requirement, concept, customizing and development all sit with the same person.
- MM Materials Management

Current focus. Procurement from the purchase requisition through to invoice receipt, including the customizing of document types, release strategies and conditions.
Currently rolling out a procurement solution together with a specialist external service provider. My responsibility there: customizing and the ABAP interface programming.
- FI-AA Asset Accounting
-
Asset master data, valuation areas and depreciation runs, plus the reports the finance department needs at year end.
- PSM Public Sector Management
-
Funds management with budget structures, funds and funds centres, as a publicly financed university has to represent them.
- PS Project System
-
Work breakdown structures, budgeting and settlement, in a university setting mainly for research and construction projects.
- CO Controlling
-
Cost centres, internal orders and periodic allocations, aligned with the reporting out of PSM and PS.
Technical work

About
I joined SAP development at RWTH Aachen as an apprentice in 2022 and stayed, because the mix this role is built on is exactly what interests me: understanding what a department actually needs, then building it properly myself.
Alongside work I am studying business informatics part-time and I am an active member of the volunteer fire brigade. Both train the same thing: staying calm under time pressure, and being able to rely on what was agreed.
I am open to enquiries, ideally in or within reach of the Aachen region, with a focus on SAP MM and module ownership.
